It's too fast! Lil' Angel is only a month away from being TWO! Happy 23rd Month Birthday, Caitlyn!At 23 months, Lil' Angel...
- Recognises the numbers 1 to 10, can count from 1 to 10 but she will omit the number 7...
- Is trying to learn to sing...
- Says simple sentences, enough to command Mommy & Daddy around...eg. "Daddy, please...off...lights!", "Mommy's chair...Mommy sittttttttttt!"...
- Will say "Me Me..." whenever she sneezes...
- Will say "Nice" with a very satisfied look every time she eats or drinks something delicious!
- Expects me to pat her back every time she chokes on her beverage. If I pretend to ignore her choking coughs, she will pat herself until I take over...
- Likes to do things herself. She will say..."Cait Cait Do"...very independent!
- Can call out the names of her close friends/ friends she sees often...
- Likes to do puzzles, building blocks and shape/colour sorting toys...
- Lets me know if she is peeing or poo-ing, she will say "Poo Poo" to both. I think she may be ready for toilet training!
- Is trying to get her colours right. At the moment, her standard response to the question of "What Colour Is This?" is RED...
- Has become very manja. Every time she knocks into something, she will go to Mommy or Daddy and say "Pain Pain" along with a pathetic look! Good that she doesn't cry...she just wants us to know and sympathise with her plight...
- Is generous with her HUGS...
- Will point to anybody's exposed boobs eg. Daddy's or Gong Gong's and say "Milk!"...
- She will tell me "Sleep!" whenever she is tired, followed by "Milk!" when she wants to be breastfed...
The past month has been another exciting month as her speech development progressed pretty rapidly once again!
