Aunty Michelle & Uncle David...

We are very happy today cos Aunty Michelle & Uncle Dave are holidaying in U.S. and they are popping by Boston to visit us! It's a good thing that they are bunking over cos Lil' Angel loves having them around...to play and to show off her tricks! Aunty Michelle and Mommy had so much to catch up on since the last time they met was almost a year ago! It was Aunty Michelle who bought Lil' Angel her very first Barney DVD and this year, she gave Lil' Angel a very pretty top! Thank you Aunty Michelle! It's a pity that you are here only for 2 days...it's too short!
See how well Lil' Angel hit off with Aunty Michelle! This was barely fifteen minutes after they arrived, and Lil' Angel was happily taking pictures with Aunty Michelle...looking right into Uncle Dave's camera!

One Year...That's how long since we last met! One Night...That's how long they will be staying for! One More...Picture, please...

Michelle & David have since moved from Sydney to London...so they are deprived of Singapore food for the longest time! Of cos we had to bring them to Penang Place to satisfy their cravings! Chicken Rice, Char Kway Teow, Prawn Mee & Kang Kong...yummmmz!

Imelda Marcos In The Making Part II...

On my 11 August 2007 post, I talked about how Lil' Angel was an Imelda Marcos in the making...from the number of booties that she owned...

Now ONE year later...she has graduated to wearing shoes and these are the number of shoes that she currently has...

10 pairs! Ahhhh...she is not a centipede but baby shoes are just so cute and it's really hard to resist! Also...everyone needs a pair of shoes for going out, to the playground, to the swimming pool and beach etc. isn't it?
This is my favourite pair!

Pretty sandals for Lil' Angel & Mommy!

And we have the same pair of running shoes too!

New Baby On The Block...

We went to visit Lil' Angel's newest friend today....Baby Jayven! He is Lil' Cayden's baby brother who arrived on 12th July...that makes him a little over two weeks old! He's such a handsome boy! Congrats Aunty Belinda & Uncle Daniel!

Cute Lil' Fella...he has blond highlights on his hair...Au naturel!

I forgot how to carry a newborn anymore! Look at how awkward my arms are!

Lil' Angel looking on...

Oooooohhhh...so sweet!

The Boxing Baby!

By the end of the visit...I found my skill of "how to carry a newborn" back! It's so easy to carry newborns...they are so light! But I shudder at the thought of this picture being our family photo...one Lil' Angel is enough to keep me busy for the time being!

Cape Cod...

We have been planning to drive to Cape Cod for the longest time so we decided to do it today! It's slightly more than an hour's drive and I read that the beaches there are good! So off we go! However, when we got there...we didn't fancy the beach much so we just drove around to see what else might be interesting. Ah ha...we chanced upon Cape Cod Waterways, where we could rent a boat and paddle along the tranquil waters and natural beauty of the Swan Pond River...
At the entrance of the Cape Cod Waterways. We are going to rent a paddle boat...us sitting in the kayak is just for show...

Walking on the boardwalk to our Paddle boat...

We are all ready to set sail!

Along the way, we saw some ducks...

And fellow rowers...

Fellow paddlers...

One of the many nice houses by the River with its own private deck...

We saw some geese too. According to Cape Cod Waterways - "With acres of conservation land lining the shores of the river, there's plenty of opportunity to spy on the area's natural wildlife in action. Sightings of waterfowl, including herons, hawks, mallards and geese are virtually guaranteed." And these we saw! We even saw birds circling in the air and diving into the water to catch their fish of the day! Lil' Angel was fascinated!

We are going under the super low bridge...can we make it...can we make it???!

Yes we can! Look at their smug looks!

Lil' Angel is impressed by our paddling skills!

Lil' Angel wants to try controlling the boat too...

Daddy is so proud of Lil' Angel's new found skill! A BIG HUG for the lil' one!

Smile!

Mommy wants to give Lil' Angel a BIG HUG too!

We are having so much fun paddling!

Lil' Angel is going to give Mommy a kiss!

Feeding the duckies with some of Caitlyn's snacks...

The duckies loved us...

Let's get those duckies over here too...

Heeheeehee...here they come...

Lil' Angel enjoying the boat ride...

And she loves the wind blowing in her face...

Clapping hands means HAPPY!

I see a bird over there...

Are you looking at me?

Ok...I'll show you my pearlies! See, so many right?

AHHHHHHH....Daddy is paddling the boat so fassssssst!

This is soooo FUN!! Faster Daddy!

Ok...anything for my Lil' Angel!

Daddy...lots of people say I look a lot like you. Let's see the resemblance...

Same rooster hairdo...Check.

High Forehead...Check.

Nice Ears...Check.
Cute Nose & Pretty Eyes...Check.

Yes...we do look alike! Me & My Daddy...

And I am as PRETTY as my MOMMY! HAHAHA...

But of cos...says Mommy!

Time to return the paddle boat...one-and-a-half hours flew by oh so quickly!

Lil' Angel looking grumpy...she wants more!

Grouchy, grouchy...

Oooooohhhh...you handsome boys...please let me paddle some more!

Lil' Angel reluctantly leaving the dock...

Hmmm...maybe we can try kayaking next time...

I better learn how to kayak!

Naughty Daddy disturbing Lil' Angel...

Colourful kayaks...

Lil' Angel thinking of which colour kayak she likes best...

Mommy...let me down!!

Lil' Angel going to return her life jacket...

We drove around to see other interesting sights. This is a souvenir shop selling Cape Cod Tees...

And a cute shop selling all kinds of floats...

I am not exaggerating...they really sell ALL kinds of floats!

A pancake restaurant...

Daddy thinks he is as strong as the RED BULL...

We were hungry from all the paddling and sight-seeing so we stopped by Lobster Boat Restaurant for a LOBSTER DINNER!

Ahhhh....Clam Chowder...

The restaurant has been voted no. 1 for it's clam chowder in Cape Cod...Yummy!

The lobster is here!

Here...a closer look...

Fish, Chips and Onion Rings...deeelicious!

And the clams...not bad...

The water to wash away the sand and the butter sauce for dipping...

Daddy feeding Lil' Angel some yummy food too...

Look at Daddy's satisfied look...

Gulls & Buoys...cute...

There was a Toys R Us Store on our way back so we stopped by...

Lil' Angel loves to ride the tricycle! I think I can cycle all the way home...
