Taiwan - Day 2...

After our breakfast in the hotel this morning, we proceeded to Yeliu Stone Park to see the unique geological features rock formations...

Lil' Angel snacking away...

Along the way, we passed by the coast. Lil' Angel enjoying the view. However, as the drive to the Stone Park was about two-and-a-half hours, Lil' Angel fell asleep half way through. When we reached our destination, she was still sound asleep...it was rainy and cold outside too so Daddy & Mommy decided not to see the rocks and stayed in the coach with Lil' Angel instead...so much for touring Taiwan! Haha...

After the group came back from viewing the rocks, we proceeded to Chiufen for lunch. There are lots of unique shops selling souvenirs, snacks and food...

A shop selling clogs and other wooden products...

Lots of shops along this little street...we were browsing and deciding which shop to go to for lunch...and finally settled on a shop selling fishball noodles...

Nothing really fantastic...I think Singapore serves better fishball noodles...

Caitlyn was enjoying the fishball though. She had three fishballs and she finally spat out the fourth ball. A baby can't have too many fishballs, eh?

After lunch, we went to check out the pastry shop nearby selling the famous Taiwanese pastries...

The various pastries freshly made on the premise...

The bakers hard at work making the famous pineapple tarts...

Samples!

After trying the pastries, we didn't buy any cos they were all soooo sweet, and in my opinion...not very nice!

Mommy and Mommy's Daddy...we were waiting for our coach...

We passed our time in the games arcade. Daddy tried his luck at picking one of the stuffies...no luck!

We visited the National Palace Museum next, which houses the largest collection of priceless Chinese art pieces collected over many centuries by the Chinese Emperors and Royal Families...

Family picture...

Pretty Flowery Cow...

Oooohhh...Acrobat Cow!

After the visit to the Museum, we proceeded to Tai Chung and checked in at the Evergreen Laurel Hotel. Went for dinner then shopping at Fengjia night market. The rain finally stopped !!

Lots of cheap clothes and shoes...but not my style...

Key chains galore!

Daddy and Gong Gong buying a drink...

Cute octopus on the roof...

Inside one of the small malls located within the night market...

A biscuit stall...

The guy baking the biscuits in a traditional oven...

Lots of stalls selling food and drinks...but we didn't buy anything to eat since we were still full from dinner. At the end of the shopping trip, Mommy bought some Hello Kitty towels and three tees for Lil' Angel and the cousins...

Back to the hotel! Lil' Angel likes this BIG Bear in the hotel lobby...

Our room. There she goes again...to the telephone!

Soaking in the tub after a hard day's work...this is the Life!
