Mommy's Daddy brought Mommy & me to The Palms restaurant at Copthorne Orchid Hotel for buffet lunch today. The spread was quite good but I wasn't in the eating mood...I was more interested in the pond with lots of baby Koi outside the restaurant...which explains the picture above!
The Elephants finally made their grand appearance! Lil 'Angel enjoyed the show lots...especially when the elephants blew out water from their trunks! Ever since then, she has been saying "Elephant Ah-Chooooo!"
After the show, we headed to the Kids' Rain forest for lunch and water play. Upon reaching the area, the girls wanted to get on the carousel. We were quite lucky as there's a on-going promotion whereby one ride is $2 instead of the usual $4!
Lil' Angel chose to ride on the Eagle and Lil' Cherelle chose the Tiger. They enjoyed the ride a lot and Lil' Angel was especially impressed by the Eagle!
After the ride, we had to walk past the toy shop before reaching KFC - our lunch destination. The girls were busy checking out the toys in the store...

We mommies were so hungry that we had to persuade them to leave the store by using the "Let's have FRENCH FRIES" line to dupe them into getting out of the store!
After the yummy lunch, we finally made our way to the water play area!
Lil' Angel was a little apprehensive of the water (water features) initially. She only wanted to stay at the shallow end of the pool and away from the water features...
Then she started venturing to the less intimidating features like the water fountains. She was so fascinated that she could "stop" the water from shooting out of the ground by stepping on the jet that she kept going to the various jets and started stepping on them!
Next, she decided that splashing water everywhere and at everyone was FUN too!
Lil' Angel was gleefully splashing water at Lil' Cherelle! But good natured Cherelle didn't mind and even gave Lil' Angel a HUG!
Then Lil' Angel found out something FUN that she could do with the water shooting out from the ground - pretending that she is pee-ing!! She was so pleased that she could position herself very nicely on the jet of water and looking as if she was peeing! She was having so much fun that Lil' Cherelle decided that she had to try it out too!
After all the fun and excitement, she was tired out and decided to sit down and relax!
The two girls were definitely tired out and ready for their nap!
Lil' Angel had lots of fun at the zoo. She has been talking about the elephants and doing the pee-ing act when she takes her bath! She gets very excited too whenever she sees the Zoo Advertisement on television. Bet she can't wait to visit the zoo again!
They were not playing very amicably the whole time. Noticed that Cherelle is in the driver's seat? Lil' Angel was eyeing that seat and finally got the opportunity to take over the wheel...

Our bento sets...yummy! Lil' Angel must had been very hungry or happy with the tattoo job that she ate quite a fair bit and very quickly too!
After lunch, we shopped and then took the train back to Yee Yee's house and waited for Daddy to pick us up after his work.
