Hong Kong Day 5...

We slept in this morning to compensate for the lack of sleep the past two days! Got up at a very earthly hour...1030am and we slowly got ourselves ready for the day. Daddy suggested having buffet lunch at the Hotel as the spread looks good. Since we had about 45 minutes to spare before the restaurant opened at 12 noon, we spent the time surfing the net at the Hotel Lobby and did a quick round of tidbits shopping at the supermarket opposite the Hotel...
Lil' Angel surfing the net too! An overview of the Hotel Lobby...
Mommy picking out all the interesting snacks. After Mommy was satisfied with her loot, we went back to the Hotel for our Buffet Lunch!
Lil' Angel enjoying the jello. She wasn't in the mood to eat much...
After the heavy lunch, Daddy was too full and lazy to go anywhere so he offered to stay in the room and babysit Lil' Angel (of cos Mommy still have to get her to nap first) while Mommy could go shopping by herself! Yipppppeeee! So after getting Lil' Angel to Lala Land, I headed to Central for some serious shopping. Spent most of my time in H&M and got some nice clothes for Lil' Angel and myself! None for Daddy though, as I didn't have time to check out the Men's Department. Sorry Daddy! Walked around a little bit more and Lo and Behold...almost three hours had whizzed by!
Daddy called to say that Lil' Angel had woken up so we decided to meet at the MTR Station and headed to Mong Kok for dinner...
We were trying to locate a particular restaurant which supposedly serves really good Congee and Noodles but alas, Daddy did not bring the map with the address of the restaurant! So we popped into one of the cafes along the street and ordered the above dishes. Daddy had Salted Fish & Diced Chicken Beancurd while Mommy & Lil' Angel shared a bowl of Beef & Egg Macaroni. The food wasn't too bad...but definitely not the best!

Hong Kong Day 4 - Peter's & Melinda's Wedding...

We had to reach the Bride's place at 830am this morning, meaning...we had to be up by 7am to get ready. As Lil' Angel had barely seven hours of sleep (since we only got to bed about mid night), she couldn't wake up and we had to force her up, wash up and change. She acted up and cried all the way from the hotel to the train ride to Causeway Bay to taking a cab to Leighton Hill (Bride's Home). She finally stopped when we arrived at the doorstep of Aunty Ngoh's place! Phew!
The wedding decor. Nice view from the living room!

Lil' Angel enjoying the view of the race course and surrounds...

Here comes the ravishing Bride, Melinda Gou Gou and the pretty Maid of Honour, Jessica Gou Gou...
All the Bridesmaids...ready to "torture" the Groom and the Brothers...

The Groom and Brothers were very sporting and did everything the Bridesmaids got them to do! Love their colourful wigs..especially the Groom's!
The Bride, Bride's Father (Uncle Nelson) and the Groom
The Groom completed the obstacle course successfully! Look at his beaming face!

Lil' Angel got the honour to have a picture taken with the Bride & Groom...
And the Bridesmaids too!

After everything was completed, Aunty Ngoh brought us around the estate for a tour...
Lil' Angel was happy to be outside...

She had fun at the playground! Oh...the older folks had fun too!

Then there was an indoor play area which is a kid's haven! Lil' Angel didn't want to leave!

We had lunch at the Function Room and the food was very yummy!
After lunch, we went for a quick round of shopping at Causeway Bay since we were already there. It was a good thing that Lil' Angel fell asleep so we could shop in peace!
At Causeway Bay...shopping and eating!
We only got back to our Hotel at 430pm. After resting for awhile, we had to shower, change and make our way to Langham Hotel at Tsim Sha Tsui by 6pm for the Solemnization. We arrived at the Hotel 10 minutes late and we missed the Solemnization! What a pity! Sorry Peter & Melinda!!

There was a Pre-Dinner Mahjong session going on before the start of the Dinner!
The Bridesmaids were also playing!

We didn't want to play so we went shopping at Tsim Sha Tsui...

We went to Harbour City and saw the Star Cruise ship at the harbour...

Lil' Angel with Daddy

There were some very nice art pieces being displayed so we took some nice pictures with the art pieces as the backdrop!

We went back for the Wedding Banquet at 8pm...

Lil' Angel was super loving that night. Love must be in the air!

Congratulations Peter & Melinda! Wishing the both of you a blissful & loving marriage! We are so happy to be able to attend your Wedding!
Yummy Suckling Pig...

This yam thingy is very yummy too!

The Dinner started pretty late...at about 930pm. As it had been a super long day for Lil' Angel, she became very restless and almost cranky by the second dish. So we had to take turns to bring her out of the ballroom...
She spotted the piano and wanted to play...so here we are...playing a duet!
However, by about 1030pm, Lil' Angel couldn't take it anymore and she started acting up so we left before the Dinner ended.
Overall, we still had a great time and we are glad that we could be part of the Happy Occasion!

Hong Kong Day 3 - Ocean Park...

It's going to be another FUN DAY for Lil' Angel today cos we are heading to Ocean Park! God Mama will be going with us too...and it's God Mama's birthday today! We are so happy that we can celebrate with her! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GODMAMA! It's really by pure coincidence that we are all in HK at the same time!

After lunch, God Mama & Mommy went on the Viking! Lil' Angel is no longer worried for Mommy on the Viking anymore. She used to be very upset when I went on the ride...

We went to catch the Dolphins and Sea Lions Show next. Lil' Angel was in a very happy mood while waiting for the show to start...

The 3 of us!

The Dolphins and Sea lions making their grand appearance...finally! Lil 'Angel enjoyed the show a lot and she was especially thrilled by the Dolphins! She has been saying "Cait Cait see Dolphins...at Ocean Park...with God mama!"

She fell asleep after the show so Mommy & God mama went on the Log Ride. It was very fun so Mommy went for a second round with Daddy!!!

Daddy acting BRAVE!

Since Lil' Angel was still sleeping after the Log Ride...Mommy & God mama went for the roller coaster ride! We had so much fun that we went on it thrice then Mommy went for the fourth with Daddy!

Lil' Angel finally woke up from her nap so we took the cable car to the bottom area of the Park...

Time to go. We took the bus and MTR to Causeway Bay to meet the Bride-to-Be and relatives at Dragon King Restaurant for dinner...

Lil' Angel with the Bride-to-Be, Melinda Gou-Gou!

We had a sumptuous dinner but by 10pm...Lil' Angel was so tired that she became super cranky! So we left before we could have our dessert! Just as well as we have to be up real early the next morning to catch the Bride and Groom in action at the Bride's place!
