I decided to enrol Lil' Angel for playschool at the Modern Montessori (MMI) on top of her current playschool at Julia Gabriel as...
- She has a friend there
- The timing is good...Tuesdays & Thursdays. Her class at JG is on Mondays
- It's just opposite our place
- The fees are pretty cheap
However, after attending two lessons, I found the class pretty boring and Lil' Angel doesn't seem very interested in class. Also, I don't quite like the idea of doing everything on the floor...be it art & craft, eating etc. The materials used to teach the kids are not very age appropriate (more suitable for kindergarten kids) eg. the worksheets given to them have very uninteresting drawings, small and no colours (the children are supposed to colour them). The art & crafts are pretty difficult and the parents usually end up doing the artwork for the kids! So there...I will be withdrawing her from the playgroup soon!
