Interesting Sites...

Orlando, Florida gives me a very "fairytale" kind of feeling...it's very unreal. I won't even bat an eyelid if a lil' fairy or pixie or alien comes up to me and say "Hi"! I am more surprised that none of them actually did...how rude of them...

Anyway, here are some of the interesting sites that can be found in this Fairytale Land...

A very interesting gift shop...I hope he doesn't turn me into a Toad...

You would think that they are selling oranges and Florida Natural OJ...well...they do sell some oranges by the entrance...and that's about it. Inside the shop, they sell mainly souvenirs...like tees, keychains, stuffed toys, etc. There are lots of these stores around Orlando...

There was a tornado...the house got uprooted!! Nah...it's WonderWorks...Central Florida’s only upside down attraction. An amusement park for the mind, featuring over 100 interactive exhibits.

Ripley's Believe It or Not! The Odditorium is sinking into the ground...

The front of a sporting store...can you spot Lil' Angel and Daddy? They are so tiny...

Told you that there are aliens in Orlando...here's their spaceship! It's another souvenir store actually...

The World's Largest Macca's...with the largest playground too...that's what they say...

We are at the airport...even the airport looks like a resort! The Disney Store behind us...

Oops...Snow White took Barney away...no wonder Lil' Angel didn't look too pleased...

Daddy and his favourite Mermaid...

Time to say "Good-Bye" to Orlando...*sob*...

That's our plane...

Cocoa Beach...

We took a break from the theme parks and decided to head down to one of Florida's beaches - Cocoa Beach...

It was a warm but super windy day! It would have been a perfect day at the beach minus the wind...

Clean sand and clear waters...

Where's the horizon? There!

The sand and water are so clean and clear that you can see the reflections of the birds and people...

Lil' Angel using her lil' feet to feel the sand and water...

OOoooohhh...that's fun!

I love my Lil' Angel...and Lil' Angel loves Mommy too!

Magic Kingdom - Disneyland!

Yipee! Today we will be visiting Magic Kingdom, Disneyland - the Happiest Place on Earth!!

We are now entering the Disney area...

Keep left to Magic Kingdom...

Ooooohhhh...here we are...at the carpark, that is!

All the theme parks' carparks are so HUGE that they have to provide trams to bring the guests to the parks!

That's the tram on the right hand side. Magic Kingdom is a little different...besides taking the tram, we also have to take either the monorail or ferry to the Park! The place is just so BIG!

The price of the tickets...

We decided to take the monorail to Magic Kingdom...

This picture is taken from the monorail. The whole place belongs to Disney and this is where the Disney Resorts are located...

One of the resorts in the background...

The Disney tour buses transporting the guests from the Disney Resorts to the various theme parks...

We are finally at the entrance of Magic Kingdom!!

It is a MUST to take a picture at this spot!

We are on Main Street, USA! The Magic Kingdom is divided into five distinct areas (lands), arranged in a spoke-like formation, all meeting at the top of Main Street USA right in front of Cinderella's Castle. The five lands consist of Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Frontierland, Liberty Square and Adventureland.

Another "must take picture" spot...with the Man himself and his Mouse...and Cinderella's Castle!

Entering Tomorrowland! Tomorrowland was originally designed to portray Disney's view of the future. The only trouble with futuristic views is that they need frequent updating. In the 90's, Disney chose a different tactic and renovated Tomorrowland to depict the future as described by sci-fi writers from the 1920's and 1930's. With this imaginative decor, Tomorrowland is the "Future That Never Was."

Whenever we want to take a ride, we will need to park Lil' Angel's stroller at the designated stroller parking areas. Look at the number of strollers!

Hmmm...maybe we should park Lil' Angel together with the stroller too!

The "Mad Tea Party" ride behind us...

A store selling all Pooh & Friends merchandise...

And we got this Pooh bag for Lil' Angel!

Pooh Lollipops...too bad Lil' Angel is still too young to have them...

Now for some Hunny Pot ride!

Lil' Angel woke up just in time for the ride...

Fun ride with lots of bouncing and nice props to see...errr...what are Tigger & Pooh up to??

Yay! We got a picture taken with our favourite bear!

Here's a BIG HUG from Lil' Angel to Pooh! She likes him!

Tigger was very happy to see Lil' Angel wearing a Tee with a picture of him on it!

Lil' Angel was delighted to fly with Dumbo!

Off to take the "Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin" ride. This is one of the most fun attractions in Disney World. You're literally in the middle of a giant arcade game, shooting lasers and racking up points as you head to the ultimate showdown with the evil emperor Zurg.

We are in "The Tomorrowland Transit Authority" car having a tour of TomorrowLand...however, it moved rather slowly...and the ride took about 10 minutes...and so I managed to breastfeed Lil' Angel. See...she is now recharged!!

The characters from Toy Story are putting up a show!

ToonTown! This is where Mickey and Friends are residing!

Minnie Mouse's house! How sweet!

What's Lil' Angel sitting on??

Mickey's letter box! I like the letter box...if only we can take it along with us...

Cute cactus!
Mickey Mouse is inside!!

Lil' Angel rubbing Mickey's nose for some good luck! But his bodyguards ain't too happy about it...guess the nose must be expensive!

Taking a family picture with the Mouse himself!

Donald Duck's BoatHouse...

Where's Lil' Angel??

We are on the Walt Disney Railroad touring Disneyland...

Lil' Angel made a new friend...

Daddy...I want to ride the horsey...

Ok...here we go!

We are now sitting "It's A Small World" ride...this is a classic ride and after the ride, your head will be poisoned with the song...

A funny looking hippo that we spotted during the ride...

Ooooohhh...we are going to take Peter Pan's Flight! There's something about Peter Pan's Flight that makes it one of the most popular attractions in the Magic Kingdom. Maybe it's the fact that the pirate ship 'flies'. You're looking down as you fly over the Darling's nursery, London, past the mermaids, and through the battle between Captain Hook and Peter Pan. The Croc is waiting for his nemesis in the end.

The nightly Float Parade...

We are flying on Aladdin's Magic Carpet! Surprisingly, Lil' Angel wasn't scared at all even though the carpet was flying pretty fast and there was water spraying at us! What a brave baby!

It's midnight and we are on our last ride before leaving...Awwwwww...we don't want to leave...

A Super Duper Spectacular fireworks (this picture does no justice to the fireworks)! Exploding with vivid color, sound and gut wrenching emotion, "Wishes" is the largest fireworks display ever presented at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. The night time spectacular is narrated by the voices of Jiminy Cricket and the Blue Fairy. Guests of Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom are told a thrilling "story in the sky" featuring hundreds of brilliant pyrotechnic effects exploding above and around Cinderella's Castle. Amazing!
