Sydney Day 1 - The Rocks, Sydney Opera House and Paddington Markets...

We caught the 7:15am Qantas Domestic Flight to Sydney! So we had to wake up really early at 5:15am, leave the apartment at 5:45am and take the cab to the airport. The Driver came at 5:45am as that was the time we requested for the cab to come pick us up. Daddy had to lug our luggage bags from the third to the first storey whilst Mommy & I were still doing some last minute stuff in the room. Daddy asked if it was ok if we were slightly late. The Driver said that it was OK. Ten minutes later, we were all down. Mommy got into the cab and realised that the meter was running. Daddy asked the Driver, and the Driver said oh yes, he left it on since 5:45am as we booked the cab for that timing! Hello! Didn't he say that it was OK that we were little late?! Sheesh! No tips for him!

Anyway, we shall not let the Driver spoil our morning/day! We were lucky that the flight was pretty empty so Lil' Angel got a seat for herself for the one-and-a-half hour flight...

As usual, the ever curious Caitlyn started exploring the buttons on both sides of the arm rests!

We did not have to pay anything for Lil' Angel's flight...yet she got a seat and a Mr Men toy! The JOY of being under TWO! Haha!

Upon reaching Sydney, we headed to Discount Cars, the car rental company...

Excuse Lil' Angel...she is still in her pyjamas because we had no time to change her this morning...

She started exploring and running around the car rental company. Lil' Angel is disturbing the printer!

And she got into the car seats that were lined up in one corner! See...I told you that she liked to sit in car seats in OZ!

After getting our car, we wasted o time and headed to my favourite place right away - The Rocks Markets...

I just love the Rocks! The atmosphere is so lively, the Art & Crafts Markets is one of the best in Australia and not forgetting the yummy food that can be found around here!

We made one for Lil' Angel...

Bought some souvenirs too...

And I just love love love the Wasabi flavoured Macadamia Nuts from this stall! It's a must to buy Mac Nuts from this stall whenever I come to Sydney!

After shopping, we went to Pancakes On The Rocks for lunch with Dr Aunty Michelle!

Lil' Angel was kept busy colouring while waiting for the food to come...

Our Dessert...Chocolate and Buttermilk Pancake with Chocolate Ice-Cream & Fudge...oooohhh...how delightfully sinful! However, the portion of the pancakes have shrunk as compared to yesteryear...

After lunch, we walked over to the Sydney Opera House...

It's really strange...every time I am in Sydney, I will always take pictures with the Bridge and the Opera House. It's strange because the Bridge and the Opera House are always the same. Stranger still, I always take so many pictures of them at different spots...which can be just a few metres apart...maybe I just want a perfect picture taken with the two landmarks. Anyway, my excuse this time is that it is Lil' Angel's first visit to Sydney...Haha!

While walking along Circular Quay, we passed by a talented ventriloquist. That's me snapping a picture of her...

After Circular Quay, we drove to Paddington for another round of Markets shopping!

After Paddington, we headed to Granduncle and Grandaunt's place at Mt Kuringgai where we will be staying. Oh, we stopped by at Hornsby on the way to do a bit more shopping!
