Bye Singapore, Hello Melbourne!

We are off to Melbourne as Daddy has a three-day conference to attend but we will be extending it to an almost three-week vacation Down Under! It is also to celebrate Lil' Angel's 18th Month Birthday! Yay!

We arrived at the Airport at 10pm to catch the mid-night flight to Melbourne...

Grandma & Grandpa sent us off...

At the boarding gate. Lil' Angel is a little dazed as its wayyyyy past her bedtime!

Waiting in line for the security check...

Ahhhh, finally a decent bassinet for Lil' Angel...no more Body Bags like those offered by United Airlines! The service of Singapore Airlines is much better than that of United, and the air stewardess who served us was super (overly) attentive to us! Heh...poor service - complain, good service - also complain!

Anyway, it was a very good idea to catch the mid-night flight as Lil' Angel slept very quickly once the plane took off. No complains of ear pains caused by the pressure, no fussing for placing her in the bassinet. Bliss! Look at how soundly she was sleeping! We had to take her out of the bassinet twice due to turbulence and she didn't even bother! She didn't sleep throughout the seven-hour flight though...she did wake up for a little while.

Lil' Angel was still below the weight limit (16kg) but height-wise...her feet were sticking out!

It's morning! Daddy and Lil' Angel looking at the clouds go by...

We have arrived at Melbourne Airport! Lil' Angel is waiting for her stroller. Where is the aeroplane, Caitlyn?

There!

At Thrifty - where we are renting our car from...

Our car which will bring us around Victoria for the next seven days...

We were hungry, so we headed to Lygon Street for Italian fare. We went to one of the restaurants but I can't remember the name cos we were so sleepy. Lil' Angel decided to sleep instead of eating. After lunch, we headed to our service apartment and slept the afternoon away!

Woke up in time for dinner so we headed to Pacific House at Richmond for their super delicious roast duck! Yumz!

This picture almost cost us our camera because we left the restaurant without taking the camera along! Good thing Mommy realised it that night but we could only call the restaurant the next morning to ask if they found our camera. Thank God they did and were honest to return it to us!
