The weather was gorgeous today - clear skies and cool temperatures so we decided to head to Healesville Sanctuary to meet the Aussie Folks!

We finally arrived after more than an hour's drive...

We headed to the Birds of Prey area first as the Bird Show was about to start...
On the way, we passed by two baby dingoes going for their walk with the keepers...

The bird show took forever to start...ok, we were early...so Lil' Angel started entertaining everyone around her! Do I look cooool?

Lil' Angel got tired of waiting for the show to start and she started talking to the people behind us...
Oh finally the show has begun! Lil' Angel watching the performance...
That's a big black bird! As expected...it flew very close to the audiences...
After the show, we walked around to see the other animals. Here's the kookaburra sitting on the old gum tree...
Now to the Koala enclosure. In case we can't capture any good shot of the real Koalas with Lil' Angel, the statue will do just fine...

She was delighted to see them and started hopping like the Kangaroos! Now whenever we ask her what the Kangaroo does, she will hop, hop and hop!

We walked back to the Kangaroo area again and this time they were out of their restricted area!
Lil' Angel was eager to pat the Kangaroos...but she was still alittle apprehensive so Daddy showed her how to pat...
