Hong Kong Day 2 - Disneyland...

We got up early this morning because we were heading to Disneyland! We were so thankful for the wonderful weather as the weather bureau forecasted that it would rain during our entire stay in Hong Kong! That would have been so dampening!
Anyway, Lil' Angel was very excited when we told her that we will be meeting Mickey Mouse and Friends...she loves Mickey Mouse! We bought some buns from Maxims for breakfast to save time PLUS they are cheap and yummy!
Thanks to Grandaunty Ngoh who knows somebody working in Disneyland...we could get in to the Theme Park for FREE! Thank you Aunty Ngoh and Friend!
Taking the MTR to Disneyland...

On board the Disney Train and arriving at the Disneyland Resort Station!
On our way to Disneyland, there are lots of banners, sculptures and signs with the Disney Characters to welcome the guest to the Theme Park...

We are nearing the entrance! Not sure if it's just me, but don't you think the Mickey in the picture looks alittle weird? A little cheena perhaps?

Lots of Mickey & Friends caps...

And clips...

And Flip Flops. To sum it all up, they have everything from Head to Toe!

Lil' Angel keeping herself busy while waiting for Aunty Ngoh's friend to bring us into the Park...

Lil' Angel was crying...cos Mommy wanted to have a picture taken but Lil' Angel didn't want to!

OOoooOooOoohhhh...isn't Disneyland supposed to be the Happiest Place on Earth???
Lil' Angel holding on to the Park's Map and pointing to the characters that she wanted to meet...

We were queueing in line to have our picture taken with Mickey & Minnie. But Lil' Angel got so excited when she saw them that she just had to stand at a spot where she could see them clearly!

However, the queue moved quite slowly so we took turns to bring her to see the other characters who were nearby...

Hello Chip n Dale!

Standoff with Goofy!

Dunno who they are...but they are definitely some nutcase scientists! The show that they put up was pretty entertaining though...

Yipee! It's finally our turn after about an half hour wait! Lil' Angel gave a BIG BIG Hug to Minnie Mouse! She got to shake hands with Mickey too! She was definitely overjoyed!

Together with Mommy...

And all of us this time!

Walking along Main Street...

Something caught Lil' Angel's attention...

It's Bubbles Time! Lil' Angel went mad chasing the bubbles! POP! POP! POP!

In front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle! And before we could go any further...Daddy said that he was HUNGRY!!! So we decided to have our lunch...

At one of the restaurants in Disneyland. Mommy & Angel shared a bowl of ramen (quite yummy!) and Daddy had Fish & Chips...

Finally...our first ride of the day...Pooh's Hunny Pot!

Pictures of us in the Hunny Pot and some of the props that we saw during the ride. Lil' Angel enjoyed the ride so much that she kept saying "Cait Cait sit Hunny Pot...Boink Bionk Bionk!" when the ride was over...

On the carousel. Lil' Angel didn't want to sit on the horse initially...she insisted on sitting on a boring carriage. But she changed her mind at the last minute when she saw Mommy sitting on the horse! No regrets...she enjoyed this ride too!

Next...The Flying Dumbo ride. She loves this too...and after the ride, she went "Cait Cait sit elephant...Fly Fly Fly!"

Pooh Bear's Hunny Pots. While Daddy was queuing to take pictures with Pooh Bear & Tigger, Mommy brought Lil' Angel to see Goofy!

She loves Goofy so much that she blew kisses at him after the photo session! He is one of her favourite characters now. If asked who did she take picture with in Disneyland, her first response would be "Cait Cait take picture with Goofy!"

Lil' Angel's turn to take pictures with Pooh & Tigger! She was delighted!

Family picture!

Lil' Angel & Mommy taking pictures with Marie the Cat...

Disneyland is definitely the happiest place on earth for kids because whenever they cry, someone (including the Park's cleaners) will come up to them very quickly and give the crying kid stickers! Lil' Angel was given quite a lot of stickers...for crying and not crying! See how pleased she is with her sticker!

Nice trees!

Lil' Angel looking at the Mad Tea Cups ride which we didn't ride...

It' a Small World in the background...

We are going on the ride! Strangely, there was NO Queue at all!!

During the ride...Lil' Angel was admiring the nice props...

We are at Tomorrow Land. Lil' Angel was elated "driving" the car...

Buzz Light Year!

Lil' Angel & Mommy wearing Minnie Mouse caps...

Lil' Angel's license to...Drive!

Hmmmm...I wonder when I can get the REAL License!

Lil' Angel was the driver...but she could hardly be seen!

What's on my head? It's Stitch! Heeeheee! Our first purchase of the Day! There's nothing much to buy actually...

Lil' Angel was so so so HAPPY eating the Mickey Mouse Ice-Cream that she couldn't get over it! It has been almost a month since she ate it (that's how backdated the blog is!) and without fail...she will tell me "Cait Cait eat Mickey E Mouse Ice-Cream" AT LEAST once a day! For the first 2 weeks, she will tell me just before she falls asleep and once she wakes up in the morning!

We are in Adventure Land...

On the Jungle Cruise. Lil' Angel enjoyed this ride as she saw lots of animals...and she kept pointing and naming them...

She got more stickers again...and she is admiring them!

She decided to peel off one of the stickers...

As she wanted to share her stickers with Daddy...

Pasting the sticker on Daddy's hand...

She spotted the Bubble Machine again...but why are there no bubbles?? She saw some boys "fanning" the bubble machine...and she did the same after they left!

Lil' Angel eyeing the Minnie Mouse Balloon...

At the entrance of the Sweets Store...

Inside the store...lots and lots of goodies!

The goodies!

Lil' Angel was so happy and excited that she didn't take her nap till it was almost 6pm! We decided to watch the Lion King Musical while Lil' Angel slept through the whole show!

The Lion King Musical.

It was dark by the time the Musical ended. Lil' Angel slept for about an hour and she was up again. We walked past the Flying Dumbo ride and she requested to ride in it...so here were are again...flying in the night this time!

The Park closes at 730pm...pretty early! Anyway...the Fireworks at Sleeping Beauty Castle!

The photos don't do justice to the magnificent fireworks...

We went to the Photo Store to look at the photos that the professional Disney Photographers took for us throughout the day. We bought TWO pictures...definitely not cheap...quite a rip off actually but oh well! We really didn't buy anything!
After the purchase, we took the train back to Jordan Station, the station nearest to our Hotel...

Daddy trying to look like Mickey Mouse...

And Lil' Angel imitating Daddy!

A tired but very happy Lil' Angel!

On the way back to the Hotel, we stopped by at a restaurant for our dinner...

We had Salt & Pepper Pork Ribs, Foo Yong Omlette and Chicken & Corn Soup. The Pork Ribs were super spicy! The soup was such a BIG portion that it could feed up to 10 people! However, Lil' Angel must have been famished after a hard day of playing to bother if the dish was too spicy or the portions too big...she was just happily eating and enjoying her dinner!
