New York - Day 4...

After walking pass the Singapore Restaurant the previous night...Daddy dearest couldn't stop thinking about HAINANESE CHICKEN RICE!! So, right after we checked out of the hotel this morning, we made our way to the restaurant in Chinatown...

The Chinatown in New York is very big and messy...

There are lots of such stalls along the streets...

And these...

And lots of people too...

Finally we arrived at the restaurant...we ordered the chicken rice and tofu on hot plate...yumz! And the food is really good considering we are in U.S...Lil' Angel even got her first taste of chicken rice...and she liked it! Daddy said it's in the genes...

Looks authentic, ya?

This is even better than some of the restaurants we have back home...

After the filling lunch...we worked it out by walking along SoHo...

One of the boutiques along SoHo...

At the Scholastic Store...can you see my sillouhette? I think Clifford the Dog spotted me!

Captain Underpants is...CUTE!!

Inside the store...lots of interesting toys, games and books for kids...

Still walking along SoHo towards Union Square...

Passed by New York University...

Crumbs is highly recommended in the guidebooks for its cupcakes...so I gotta try some...

Wow...so many different flavours!! I chose the Oreo and Chocolate Devil flavours...how chocolatey and sinful is that?? But it was heavenly sinful...

Union Square...

A small park at Union Square...

3-storey Babies R Us @ Union Square...

Heading towards Times Square. See the tall building ahead? That's the Chrysler Building...

And if you look closely...you will notice that the corners of the 61st floor are graced with eagles, replicas of the 1929 Chrysler hood ornaments...

Popcorn recommended by the guidebooks....

Inside the shop...

Quite limited flavours...

We chose the caramel & macadamia flavour...it was ok...

The world's biggest Build-A-Bear Store...

End of trip! Say "Bye" to the Big Apple, Caitlyn!

Waiting at the bus station to catch the coach back to Boston. It was a tiring holiday...and it felt like we were taking part in the Amazing Race...with a baby & stroller in tow!
