New York - Day 3...

As usual, we start off from Times Square since we are staying there...

The streets are less crowded as you can see...guess most people are in church or sleeping in...

Hard Rock Cafe New York...

We went to the GreenFlea Sunday Market. I was pretty disappointed with the arts&crafts, clothes and accessories...nothing really attractive...

We left after a little while since it wasn't interesting...

We decided to have our brunch at Columbus Gourmet which we happened to walk past...

The food was quite yummy...I liked my breakfast set...

Daddy's sandwich looked quite yummy too!

The Globe at Trump International Hotel and Tower...

Columbus Circle. In the background is the high-end shopping mall...

Inside the mall. This must be an expensive art piece...

Now a picture with the Fat Lady...

This is where the "Late Show with David Letterman" is recorded...

The Open-Roof Double Decker Bus that goes round the places of interests in the city...

Now showing...

We booked the NY Waterway Tours to see Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. We are waiting for the shuttle to take us to the Pier...

At the pier waiting to board the ferry. That's the NYC Duck...

Don't be fooled...this is the miniature Statue of Liberty!

That's the ferry that we will be taking...

Lil' Angel all happy and excited about the ferry ride!

Waiting for the ferry to set sail...

Finally...the ferry is moving...and we got a picture of the 3 of us together!

Everybody is on the upper deck taking in the sights of Manhattan...

That's the Empire State Building...

Lots of skyscrapers...

It was very windy...

Now you can tell how windy it was!

The Brooklyn & Manhattan Bridges...

Look...Daddy & me got the same hairdo!

I see a train on the bridge...

Yap...that's the subway from Manhattan to Brooklyn...

The Financial District and Pier 17...

Statue of Liberty...standing tall and magnificent!

Nice shot!

Daddy & Me!

Looking at the Statue in awe...

Mommy & Me!

After the ferry tour, we took the subway to Wall Street...

The New York Stock Exchange...

Federal Hall and the Statue of George Washington...

Wall Street...

Lots of skyscrapers...typical of any financial district...

The Bull Statue. We touched the Bull...and my stock prices went up!

The U.S. Bankruptcy Court behind us...and there's a nice garden just in front of the Court...

The flowers were so pretty...I couldn't resist having a picture taken!

The Standard & Poor's Building...

The Peking at South Street Seaport...

Pier 16...

The busker is trying to squeeze himself into the small container...and he did it!

Pier 17...quite like Fisherman's Wharf with shops and restaurants...but on a smaller scale...

We went to Ground Zero...the place had a sombre feel to it...

St. Paul's Chapel opposite the site...

We walked to Chinatown after that...

The temple looking building is actually a Chinese Bank...

A seafood market selling all kinds of seafood and they looked very fresh...

Ooohhh...ice-cream at Chinatown Ice-Cream Factory...supposed to be famous! Had the red bean flavour...not too bad...

We had dinner at Joe's Ginger. It is famous for it's Xiao Long Bao (Crystal Buns) so I've got to try it!

The Xiao Long Baos were pretty good...on par with what we can find back in Singapore...satisfied my craving...Yipee!

The garlic prawns were delicious! Now Daddy dearest is so hooked to garlic prawns...Mommy has to cook this dish too!

The salt&pepper pork ribs. They were ok...have tasted better ones before...

We walked around Chinatown after dinner. Hmmm...Singapore Restaurant! Wonder how authentic the food is. Maybe we can try it tomorrow!

The egg tarts are delicious! Not too sweet and the pastry is light and flaky!

*Drooling*...

On the way back to the Hotel, we popped by the Grand Central Terminal...

Inside the Terminal...very big and grand indeed!

Our last night at Times Square...and as usual...it's super crowded!

This City never sleeps!
