Chomp 'em All Down!

For the whole of the first week, we have been doing nothing but eating and shopping, thanks to Adeline for all her great recommendations on all the reasonably priced and yummy foods that can be found around Boston. She knows Boston inside out as she had been here for a number of years before moving to Colorado.

I tried to take pictures of all the restaurants and cafes that we went to as well as the yummilicious food but sometimes, the food just get the better of me and I'll forget all about it till my stomach is about to burst! Below are some of the food that I managed to take...

NEIGHBORHOOD BAR & RESTAURANT

This restaurant in Somerville serves really good breakfast...and the portions are HUGE! The 3 of us shared 2 sets of breakfast...

This set consists of a big juicy steak, homefries and 3 eggs!

This set has bacon instead...and I love the homefries! Tasted abit like fried carrot cake!

And the oh-so delicious looking waffle which we didn't even touch cos we were too full!

All breakfast sets come with a bowl of oats, juice, unlimited toast and cake...

MINADO JAPANESE RESTAURANT

Next stop was to Minado for Japanese buffet! The restaurant is about 45min drive away from downtown Boston but the long drive was worth it. They had all kinds of sushi, tempura, sashimi, salads, desserts...and all for USD17.90 for lunch!

Lil' Angel wanted to join in to after seeing so much food on the table so I gave her some rockmelon which she absolutely loved!

VICTORIA'S SEAFOOD RESTAURANT

Next was to Victoria's Seafood. The 3 of us ordered a 4-person set meal which consists of lobsters, pork ribs, chicken, toufu, vegetables and fruits! Everything was delicious! And the price? Less than $50! Of cos we couldn't finish the food...the portions are so huge that they can easily fill 5-6 people!

CHAU CHOW CITY

We went for our second tim sum brunch on Adeline's last day in Boston. This time, we went to Chua Chow City. The tim sum is good though not as yummy as Hela Moon.

The cheong fun and porridge were good...

Even Caitlyn got her first taste of century egg porridge and she loved it!

CAFE MAMI @ PORTER EXCHANGE

Cafe Mami's (Japanese Cafe) speciality is its hamburger steak. This is definitely the nicest hamburger steak I've eaten...

Alvin's hamburger steak with Terriyaki sauce...

Adeline's hamburger steak with soy and ginger sauce...

Mine's with their special homemade tomato sauce...absolutely deeeelicious!
