Hong Kong Day 6...

So this is our last day in Hong Kong. By hook or by crook, I wanted to meet up with Carmen, my uni friend whom I have not seen since 2001...that was the last time I was in HK! As we were so busy the past few days, I was really glad that we managed to at least meet up on our LAST DAY! It was a no-brainer as to where we should eat...YUM CHA of cos!

Carmen & I
A picture of us first before we tucked in...
All the delicious food that we ordered...slurrrrrp...

Lil' Angel was only interested in the egg tart! Thank you Carmen for treating us to the yummy yum cha! We enjoyed the food lots!
After yum cha, we walked over to Causeway Bay for last minute shopping...
Freshly made potato chips! Fresh from the fryer!

The guy cutting and frying the chips. Of cos we had to try a stick! It was OK...not fantastic!
We were actually still very full from the yum cha but we had to have the mango desserts from Lucky Desserts...
Daddy's Mango Dessert...very yummy!

Mommy's Mango Pamelo and Sago Dessert...good but not as yummy as Daddy's...
Glutinous Rice Rolls with Mango...quite good!

After we were done with the desserts, we walked around a little bit more before saying goodbye to Carmen. We headed back to our Hotel to pick up our luggage and took the cab to the airport. We reached the airport TWO hours early so we were so happy that we had so much time or so we thought!) to shop and eat in the airport...
We were quite full but the Goose was too tempting. So Mommy ordered Goose Noodles...
And Daddy had Chicken and Char Siew Rice...

And as if those were not enough...we ordered two large cups of Mango Juice! We were so carried away with stuffing ourselves that we didn't realise that we needed to board the plane!! The flight was at 630pm and we were still enjoying our drinks at 610pm! Gosh! Because we had so little time to reach the plane, we had to go to the special counter at the Immigrations so that we did not have to queue. It still took us some time to clear the immigrations and by the time we were done, we had less than five minutes to run to our gate. Half way to the gate, the officer in charge had to "locate" us and informed the crew to re-open the doors of the plane again as "the last passengers were making their way to the plane!" Think he was quite upset with us...ok, it's really our fault! Thank goodness we did not miss the flight! Quite drama actually...

This is the kid's meal that was offered to Lil' Angel...and it was bad! The fish fingers were stale and the peas and potatoes were so dry! Very disappointing...

We might as well play with the food...

Mr Scary Face!

Lil' Angel wanted to eat Mr Scary Face! And Daddy says...there goes Mr Scary!
Mommy enjoyed the trip but Daddy & Lil' Angel didn't like HK very much as it's too crowded and polluted. They only liked the two days spent at Disneyland and Ocean Park!
