How Does Mommy Beat Caitlyn?

Lil' Angel knows that whenever she does something naughty, Mommy will beat her hand. Now, she beats me to it!

We woke up early today so that we could go for the breakfast buffet in the hotel. No...it's not included in the $10 that we paid for the room...in case you are wondering.

Lil' Angel still feeling very sleepy...we don't usually get up so early, that's why!

After trying it...she liked it and was happily lapping up the cereal...

After breakfast, we checked out of the hotel and went for Lil' Angel's class at Julia Gabriel...how very convenient!

Post Valentine's Day Celebration...

Daddy booked a room at Hotel Ibis on Bencoolen to celebrate Valentine's Day. It is the first international economy hotel in Singapore and it is located in the business and cultural centre. Its 538 modern rooms feature high ceilings and large bay windows, and Ibis Singapore on Bencoolen is close to Singapore attractions. Sounds quite good eh? Well...Daddy only paid $10 for the room as there was an on-going promotion where you can pay what you want for the room. We thought it was quite bad of us to pay so little but we found out from the news articles that there are people who paid only $1 for the room. Hmmmm...now we feel shortchanged...hahaha!

Lil' Angel got so excited...as if we are on holiday! Upon entering the room...she made a quick dash to this "sofa" and pretended to sleep...

She really thinks that she is talking to someone over the phone...

Lil' Angel was happily going in and out of the tiny wardrobe. The hotel room is really not bad at all...so we are going to book again...cheap thrill (literally)! Since this is a back dated post, we have since stayed once more and will be staying again next month...and seems like the price that we are paying each time is getting lesser! Told you its cheap thrill already. Did I mention that they have overseas tv channels too? It does feel like we are overseas!

It so happened that there is a news article in the Sunday Times today reviewing the restaurant at Ibis Hotel...and the reviews are not bad so we decided to give it a try. Gong Gong & Ma Ma came to join us for dinner...

The food all came in sample portions. The laksa which was quite nice...

Bak Kut Teh...measley portion...one rib only...

Nesi Lemak...the rice was super oily...no good...

Other dishes we had were chilli crab, char kway teow, fried hokkien mee, stingray, popiah and curry chicken. The chilli crab was the best. Good thing we ordered three portions of chilli crabs!

Hort Park...

After our Valentine's Day lunch, we went to Hort Park as Gong Gong wanted to get some fertilizer from Hort Mart. Since it was such a nice and sunny day, we decided to stay on for a little while to let Lil' Angel run around...

Lil' Angel knocked out after we reached home, so Mommy could make some heart-shaped Orange Cranberry Bread for Daddy for Valentine's Day. However, it seems like Lil' Angel appreciated the cake more than Daddy...
