Day Out With The Cousins...

After Lil' Angel's class at Julia Gabriel today, we met Yee Yee, Nicole & Natalie for lunch and shopping! We had lunch at the Japanese Restaurant in Forum Galleria...

Natalie giving Lil' Angel a Ding Dang tattoo...much to Lil' Angel's delight!
Done! Lil' Angel admiring the tattoo on her hand and was extremely pleased with it! Thank you Natalie Jie Jie...

Our bento sets...yummy! Lil' Angel must had been very hungry or happy with the tattoo job that she ate quite a fair bit and very quickly too!

After lunch, we shopped and then took the train back to Yee Yee's house and waited for Daddy to pick us up after his work.

Happy Mother's Day...

It's Mommies' Day today so Daddy treated us to a buffet lunch at Noble House. The food was good and we were so full after the meal!

Lil' Angel took this picture of Ma Ma (with a little help from Mommy)...
And she took this picture of Mommy too...

25 Months...

Lil' Angel is 25 Months today! At 25 Months...
  1. She is talking a lot more now and in sentences. She comments on everything she sees...
  2. She will say "Night Night Mommy", "I Love You Mommy" followed by a BIG HUG every night...
  3. Don't Fart around her. She will say "XXX Fart Fart...Smelly!" She will even say herself...and even the car is not let off (think locking/ unlocking of the car using the remote control)...
  4. She asks about everyone. If we get into the car and one of the family members is "missing", she will ask "Where is MaMa/Gong Gong/ Aunty Nana?"...
  5. She is so good at opening doors now that whenever it's bedtime, she will escape from the bedroom and goes to the Gramp's room to play...
  6. She loves to jump...on the trampoline, from the stairs, chairs (makes my heart jump too!)...
  7. She is very sure of the colours now...red, blue, pink, purple, yellow, orange, green, brown, black, white...

Sol Cafe & Daily Scoop...

Mommy has been taking the car more often so we get to go more interesting places now instead of the nearby malls. Today, we asked Aunty Cynthia & Lil' Cherelle for lunch at Sol Cafe. It's a very child friendly cafe as there's a play area indoors and a playground outside the cafe.

Lil' Angel & Lil' Cherelle were happily playing while waiting for the food to be served...

The two girls busying themselves in the play area...

Lil' Cherelle giving Lil' Angel a hug...

The food is here...

Lil' Cherelle is enjoying the pasta...

And so is Lil' Angel...zuuuuut!

After we were done with lunch, we let the girls have some fun at the playground...

Lil' Angel climbing up and sliding down countless time...and running around too...

Rocking the plane to and fro vigorously! Ok, your turn, Cherelle!

After some time, it became too warm so we decided to proceed to the Daily Scoop for gelato! The perfect antidote for a HOT day!

Lil' Angel is wondering...how come Cher has two scoops but I have only ONE????

Parks...

Gong Gong needed to buy fertilizer from Hort Park so we all went along since we had no program for the day...
Pretty plants and cactus on sale. While Gong Gong was getting the fertilizer, Lil' Angel ran around the grass patch...
Alas, it was too hot! It's really always hot at HO(R)T Park...

So she ran back into the shaded area...

Are you done, Gong Gong?

Gong Gong didn't managed to get the fertilizer as it was out of stock. So we headed to Ridout next to get the fertilizer...
While Gong Gong was getting the fertilizer, Daddy bought Strawberry Sundae from Maccas! Lil' Angel running towards the sundae!

After getting the fertilizer, we decided to bring Lil' Angel to Jacob Ballas Children's Garden for some fun since we were in the "Parks Mood"...

Lil' Angel looking at the "Tree of Life" at the entrance of the Garden...
Lil' Angel on the loose! She's checking to see if we are following her...
She loves nature and the great outdoors...

Following Daddy up the little hill and running down after that!

Taking a little break...

I see birds up in the sky!

Wonder where she is scooting off to!

Caught her disgusted expression...all because she saw a fly buzzing around her!
Gong Gong is over here!

I can see you!

Walking hand in hand with Ma Ma...

Time to drink water....ahhhhh...how refreshing after running around in the hot sun!

Hong Kong Day 6...

So this is our last day in Hong Kong. By hook or by crook, I wanted to meet up with Carmen, my uni friend whom I have not seen since 2001...that was the last time I was in HK! As we were so busy the past few days, I was really glad that we managed to at least meet up on our LAST DAY! It was a no-brainer as to where we should eat...YUM CHA of cos!

Carmen & I
A picture of us first before we tucked in...
All the delicious food that we ordered...slurrrrrp...

Lil' Angel was only interested in the egg tart! Thank you Carmen for treating us to the yummy yum cha! We enjoyed the food lots!
After yum cha, we walked over to Causeway Bay for last minute shopping...
Freshly made potato chips! Fresh from the fryer!

The guy cutting and frying the chips. Of cos we had to try a stick! It was OK...not fantastic!
We were actually still very full from the yum cha but we had to have the mango desserts from Lucky Desserts...
Daddy's Mango Dessert...very yummy!

Mommy's Mango Pamelo and Sago Dessert...good but not as yummy as Daddy's...
Glutinous Rice Rolls with Mango...quite good!

After we were done with the desserts, we walked around a little bit more before saying goodbye to Carmen. We headed back to our Hotel to pick up our luggage and took the cab to the airport. We reached the airport TWO hours early so we were so happy that we had so much time or so we thought!) to shop and eat in the airport...
We were quite full but the Goose was too tempting. So Mommy ordered Goose Noodles...
And Daddy had Chicken and Char Siew Rice...

And as if those were not enough...we ordered two large cups of Mango Juice! We were so carried away with stuffing ourselves that we didn't realise that we needed to board the plane!! The flight was at 630pm and we were still enjoying our drinks at 610pm! Gosh! Because we had so little time to reach the plane, we had to go to the special counter at the Immigrations so that we did not have to queue. It still took us some time to clear the immigrations and by the time we were done, we had less than five minutes to run to our gate. Half way to the gate, the officer in charge had to "locate" us and informed the crew to re-open the doors of the plane again as "the last passengers were making their way to the plane!" Think he was quite upset with us...ok, it's really our fault! Thank goodness we did not miss the flight! Quite drama actually...

This is the kid's meal that was offered to Lil' Angel...and it was bad! The fish fingers were stale and the peas and potatoes were so dry! Very disappointing...

We might as well play with the food...

Mr Scary Face!

Lil' Angel wanted to eat Mr Scary Face! And Daddy says...there goes Mr Scary!
Mommy enjoyed the trip but Daddy & Lil' Angel didn't like HK very much as it's too crowded and polluted. They only liked the two days spent at Disneyland and Ocean Park!
